Alan Ritchson plays the character as a man whose size is a fact the show treats practically rather than spectacularly: the physicality is there to establish that he can operate alone. Nick Santora adapts Lee Child's novels with the rhythms of an old-fashioned thriller, each episode closing a door while opening another.
