A young Marine with raw instinct and poor impulse control gets recruited into a CIA undercover program designed to infiltrate terrorist networks from the inside — which means learning to pass as someone else before she's finished becoming herself. The series runs two tracks in parallel: Cruz's field integration, which operates on the logic of deep-cover procedural drama, and the station-chief machinery around Joe, the program lead working the bureaucratic and tactical pressures above. Sheridan builds it as an institutional thriller with a performance pressure at its center, Zoe Saldaña holding the command layer while Laysla De Oliveira carries the ground-level risk.
