Ransom Canyon

2025

Three ranching families in a small Texas town, their land borders drawn close enough that inheritance disputes and old grudges can share a fence line. April Blair structures the series around the friction where those dynasties meet — not as a saga of sweeping history but as a contemporary drama that uses the Western setting to put property, loyalty, and bloodline under pressure. Josh Duhamel and Minka Kelly anchor the adult generation; Lizzy Greene and Garrett Wareing carry the younger one, which suggests the show runs its conflicts across two timelines of consequence rather than one. The genre here is ranch drama in the Dallas lineage, updated for a present where the land itself feels newly precarious.
